CATastrophic Gainz

Kettlebell Strength & Conditioning Program for Garage Gym Heroes

Ditch the Random Workouts & Invest in Your Long-Term Health with 6 Weeks of Skilled Kettlebell Training

Available for download on 10/26!

You spent hundreds of dollars on kettlebells during the pandemic.  Now, gyms are open, but you’re not going back.

You used to love going to the gym. But the gym no longer works for you because it’s inconvenient, or expensive, or crowded.

Us too! We moved to the country and built out a huge garage gym. It makes zero sense for us to join a gym.

You feel lost, isolated, and unmotivated. So you end up doing random workouts.

You know 30 minutes on the Peloton isn’t going to increase your bone density, or build muscle, or make you stronger and more resilient.

But you can't seem to stick with a strength training routine.

Imagine a world where...

… You’re training kettlebells several days a week, which is super satisfying.

… You’re working out from home on your schedule and your terms.

… You have a plan and a coach, and you know exactly what to do for all your workouts.

… You have direction and structure, and you feel motivated by a coach who’s invested in your success, as well as a supportive community.

… You’re strengthening your bones, fortifying your joints, building muscle, getting stronger, and reaping all the benefits of consistent strength training.

… You feel confident that you’re using your kettlebells with great technique, and you know exactly how to train while staying injury-free.

Hi! I’m Cat.

I’m a StrongFirst Team Leader Elite, kettlebell coach, former gym owner, wife and adventure buddy to husband Chau, and dog mom.

I’ve trained hundreds of students over the past nine years of teaching kettlebells.

I’m 41 years old.

I have a curvy spine that makes me lopsided (scoliosis), and I had a major seven-incision abdominal surgery (massive fibroid hysterectomy) when I was 36.

I wasn’t a collegiate athlete.

I’m pretty much the opposite of your typical six-pack-sporting IG influencer (thank the lord).

I’ve dedicated the past nine years of my life to learning how to use kettlebells to train not only for strength, but for longevity.

I developed CATastrophic Gainz because I wanted to create a simple, effective, full-body strength and conditioning program for my students.

✔️ Uses only kettlebells and bodyweight. (No loading and unloading barbells or gathering up a pile of bands, balls, dumbbells, and other random gear).

✔️ Simple and easy to follow (without being boring).

✔️ Progressive, meaning the skills and reps increase week-over-week so you can see real gainz in your strength and conditioning (and not stay stuck in a plateau).

✔️ Hits all the major components of a comprehensive training plan:

  • core strength

  • upper body strength

  • lower body strength

  • cardiovascular conditioning

  • explosive power

  • mobility

✔️ Founded on the StrongFirst principles of sustainable, low-impact training methodologies that leave you feeling stronger and more energized (not destroyed, exhausted, or broken).

I ran CatGainz with a small group of my students last year.

After we finished the program, I tweaked and revised it based on my students’ feedback and experience during the six weeks.

Then, I filmed all the workouts.  It was shweaty.

After filming, I recorded the audio coaching soundtrack for all the workouts.

Finally, I put the finishing touches on the program PDF, and we uploaded all the videos into our streaming platform.

Now, the full program, including the 19-page downloadable PDF and downloadable follow-along videos (plus some sweet bonuses!) is about to be available to you at a fraction of the cost of the original small group program.

This was one of my favorite programs so far since it gave both newer lifters and experienced ones plenty of stuff to sink their teeth into. It allowed me to push myself while also giving a refresher on the fundamentals.

I thought you hit it out of the park with this one :)

I went from doing baby deer get-ups to actually nailing them forward, in reverse, and with pauses at each step!

I love that I didn't have to worry about bringing complicated pre-existing skills to the table. This program was so accessible.

I needed a training reset. I had fallen into a rut, and trying to lonewolf your way out of a rut doesn't work. I felt physically weak which affected my brain.

After doing CatGainz, I'm feeling strong again. I have less back pain. I'm carving out time to train and I have a plan. I'm also about to graduate to that 28kg kettlebell.

Thanks for the reset, Cat!

THANK YOU for the CatGainz program. I didn't know I needed this program before I started, but a few weeks in, I realized that joining was one of the best decisions I've made.

Besides the obvious outcome of learning new techniques and skills, I'm now deep down the kettlebell and strength training rabbit hole and I couldn't be happier. (cont'd).

(cont'd). I also hit a PR with my barbell deadlift and I attribute that to the kettlebell program because I didn't really change any other variables.

The program was extremely well-designed. I've done other programs before, but this one really stood out.

The CatGainz Blueprint

You’ll train 4 days per week for 6 weeks. You only need 2 kettlebells.

😎 Weeks 1-2: Ease Into It

  • Workouts are 20-35 minutes long, including warmup.

  • Movements covered: two-hand swing, pushup, goblet squat, hardstyle plank, single bell clean, get-up, one-hand swing, military press.

  • You'll build your foundational skills and routine, which sets you up for success.

🚀 Weeks 3-4: Gaining Momentum

  • Workouts are 30-45 minutes long, including warmup.

  • Movements covered: everything in weeks 1-2 PLUS the snatch, single bell racked front squat, and variations on the pushup and plank.

  • Reps and sets increase now that you’ve learned the skills and put in the work in weeks 1-2!

🔥 Weeks 5-6: Crushing It

  • Workouts are 35-50 minutes long, including warmup.

  • Movements covered: everything in weeks 1-4 PLUS double bell cleans and double bell front squats.

  • We up the ante on reps and sets because you’ve been training hard and training smart. You got this!

How many kettlebells do I need?

You only need 2 bells: a light bell for upper body work and a medium-to-heavy bell for lower body work.

The only double-bell work is in weeks 5-6, where you'll do some double bell front squats and double cleans. However, if you don't have a pair of matching bells, you can do these movements with odd-sized bells. Just make sure to switch sides and even out your reps on both sides.

I'm a total kettlebell beginner. Can I do this program?

YES! As long as you've done a handful of swings, get-ups, and squats, you'll be able to follow along just fine.

You can also take the program at your own pace. CatGainz works great as a 12-week program too! Just spend two weeks on each week instead of one.

Also, this is the exact reason why I'm holding COACHING HOURS 2x per week! You can hop on Zoom with me and I'll coach you through the movements, give you modifications, and answer all your questions.

(If you've never touched a kettlebell in your life, this program is not for you.)

I'm an intermediate kettlebeller. Should I do this program?

YES! This program is perfect for intermediate kettlebellers who want a refresher on their skills and an intelligently designed program that pushes them (especially in weeks 5-6 😈.)

What if I can't start right away?

No worries! You get LIFETIME access to everything in CatGainz: the video workouts, the full PDF, and the Facebook group. The workouts and PDF are downloadable.

The only things that are time-sensitive are the 2x/weekly Zoom coaching hours (10/31 - 12/9, 2022) and the personalized coaching bonus.

What if I don't like the program?

I'm offering a 14-day money-back guarantee. I love this program and I know you'll love it too. But if for some reason it's not your thing, no worries. Just email me within 14 days of purchasing CatGainz, and you'll get a full refund.
